| IEEE PRESIDENTS’ SCHOLARSHIP |
Established in 1999, the IEEE Presidents’ Scholarship recognizes a deserving student for an outstanding project that demonstrates an understanding of electrical engineering, electronics engineering, computer science, or other IEEE fields of interest.
Administered by IEEE Educational Activities, this scholarship includes:
– US$10,000 payable over four years of undergraduate university study;
– complimentary IEEE student membership;
– an engraved plaque.
The IEEE Foundation has established the IEEE Presidents’ Scholarship Fund in order to accept contributions that can be used to support the award. Contributions made to the IEEE Presidents’ Scholarship will provide the financial resources students need to pursue their engineering dreams.
Scholarship presentation
The scholarship is presented at the annual Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). A team, comprised of IEEE members and volunteers, reviews all projects in IEEE fields of interest and selects one for the scholarship.
Eligibility
Students must compete in the Intel ISEF competitions beginning at the state/local level and advance onto the international competition, held annually in May.
