IEEE Ukraine Section

We are pleased to announce the opening of the electoral process that will yield the next Executive Committee of IEEE Ukraine Section. The term of Section Secretary and Treasurer will be 2 years – from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2027. The term of Section Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect will be 6 years – from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2027 as Chair-Elect, from January 1, 2028 to December 31, 2029 as Chair and from January 1, 2030 to December 31, 2031 as Past Chair.

The ballots will present all candidates for each position, and voters will vote for each individual. The mandatory positions are:
1. Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect
2. Secretary
3. Treasurer

The 2024-2025 Section Chair and 2024-2025 Section Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect cannot participate in the 2025 Section Elections as candidates. They will automatically take the positions of 2026-2027 Section Past Chair and 2026-2027 Section Chair, respectively.

To be eligible to be a candidate or to vote in an election, a member:
i. must be Graduate Student Member, Member, Senior Member, or Fellow grade.
ii. must be active as of 30 June and remain active through the election closing with no gaps in membership.

Please pay attention that one of the important criteria for consideration of candidates is the previous experience as a Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, or Treasurer of the Section’s Operation Committee, Section’s Appointment (Standing) Committees Chair, and Chair of the Section’s Chapter and Affinity Grous.

Ballot preparation will start when candidates slate is finalized. After the candidatures are received and accepted, this information will be sent by email to all voting members of the IEEE Ukraine Section by October 13, 2025 December 3, 2025. IEEE Ukraine Section members will vote electronically using the IEEE vTools system.
