IEEE Ukraine Section Subunits

IEEE Bylaws I-402: The geographic organizational units of IEEE are Regions, Areas, Councils, Sections, Subsections, Chapters, Student Branches, Student Branch Chapters, and Affinity Groups. Relevant functions, composition and administrative guidelines and procedures regarding IEEE geographic organizational units are provided in the MGA Operations Manual. More restrictive petition requirements may be adopted within a Region upon the approval of the Member and Geographic Activities Board.
IEEE Bylaws I-402.4: A Section shall be the basic operating geographic organizational unit of IEEE and shall be constituted by a minimum of fifty (50) IEEE voting members.
CHAPTERS PAGE
IEEE Bylaws I-402.6; a Chapter shall be a technical subunit of a Region, one or more Sections, or a Geographic Council. Chapter shall be established by petition to the parent geographical and technical organizational units concerned to fulfill the mission of IEEE.
AFFINITY GROUPS PAGE
IEEE Bylaws I-402.10: an Affinity Group shall be a non-technical subunit of a Region, one or more Sections, or a Geographic Council.
STUDENT BRANCHES PAGE
IEEE Bylaws I-402.7/8/11: A Student Branch shall be an operating organizational unit of IEEE. A Student Branch Chapter shall be a technical subunit of a Student Branch. A Student Branch Affinity Group shall be a non-technical subunit of a Student Branch.
