The IEEE International System-on-Chip Conference
The IEEE International System-on-Chip Conference (SOCC), sponsored by the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society, is a premier forum for sharing the latest technical advancements and research findings in SoC process technology, circuit design, architecture, systems, test, design tools, and applications (www.ieee-socc.org). It provides ample networking opportunities with leaders and peers in the field of SoC and VLSI for establishing collaborative research. SOCC 2015 offers a SOCC Student grant to encourage students participation and enhance their academic experience. SOCC2015 offers a four-day technical program featuring:
Keynote and plenary speakers from academic and industry leaders
- Jason Cong, Chancellor’s Professor, UCLA Computer Science Department; Director, Center for Domain-Specific Computing
- Chris Rowen, Fellow and CTO, IP Group, Cadence Design Systems Inc.
- Yervant Zorian, Chief Architect and Fellow, Synopsys
- Rui Hou, VP Processor Design, Suzhou PowerCore
- Gavin Stark, Chief Scientist, Netronome
Tutorial Day with 8 sessions covering various hot SoC topics
A high-profile panel discussion session on How to Avoid Internet of “Broken” Things – Challenges in Integration, Reliability, Security and Scalability
Two Special Sessions focusing on Design and CAD research opportunities in a post-CMOS era and Emerging VLSI DSP techniques for next generation communication
Three-day technical sessions of presentations of research and innovation results covering areas:
- RF, Analog and Mixed Signal Circuits and Systems
- Wireline and Wireless Communication Circuits and Systems
- Embedded Computing Systems and Applications
- Systems Level Design Methodologies
- High-level Synthesis and Verification
- Network-on-Chip and Multicore Architectures
- Memory Systems
- Low-Power Systems and Design Methodologies
- Multi-domain Power Management
- On-chip Interconnect and 3D ICs
- Design Track
SOCC outreach program is specially organized to advance multi-/many-core SoC research and training and promote research activities of young professionals, Ph.D. and Master’s students. The enrichment events include keynote speeches, lecture series, panel discussion, student posters, and a tech tour. SOCC2015 offers SOCC Student Grants sponsored by IEEE CASS Outreach Initiative to eligible non-author student attendees. See details on the website of IEEE Outreach Workshop on Multi-/Many-core
